Woodland Park

Traffic Impacts - April 6 to April 12

Please be advised of the following traffic impacts, restrictions and planned work for next week for the CO 67 Widening in Woodland Park project in Teller County.

Daytime Traffic Impacts

Monday, April 7 to Friday, April 11

Both directions of CO 67 - daytime lane & shoulder closures, with traffic shifts and brief holds

•   Motorists can expect intermittent single lane closures in each direction of CO 67 within the project limits, Monday to Friday.

•   Single lane closures will exist from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by shoulder and acceleration/deceleration lane closures, as needed.

•   Flaggers will be present to manage alternating traffic flows during lane closures, with brief holds and traffic shifts expected.

•   Uniformed traffic control personnel will be present at the CO 67 and County Road/Evergreen Heights Drive intersection and at the CO 67/West Kelley's Road intersection, as needed to maintain safety.

•   Working hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday.

•   The project limits on CO 67 extend from Mile Point 76.92 to MP 79.21.

•   A 10-foot width restriction is in place.

•   Construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change.

•   Visit cotrip.org for real-time road conditions and lane closures.

Work includes removing signs and delineators, relocating utility lines, erecting barrier wall, and installing drainage pipe.

9:00 am -12:00 pm

Meet outside the Visitor Center

Start this 5 mile trek on the Rock Pond Trail. Discover beautiful water features at the park when passing by 4 ponds and a frozen waterfall. Spikes and trekking poles are recommended for this moderate-difficult hike. Bring water and snacks. End time is an estimate and will depend on the pace of the group.
