The Wyoming Afterschool Alliance knows that Wyoming’s real secret sauce is our ability to come together as community to achieve remarkable things, even in tough times. In response to our current situation, WYAA is gathering fun, engaging, and educational resources to share with you! Fun with Dry Ice & Sidewalk Chalk Art
Steven Schnell with The Science Zone in Casper recently hosted “Daily Dose of Science: Fun with Dry Ice.” In this 10-minute video, Steven explores solids, liquids, and gas! Look for his careful use of PPE, the safety glasses and insulated work gloves make him look like a science superhero. You may try some of these experiments at home but remember, science is messy! Find the video on YouTube and posted at wyafterschoolalliance.org/science-math .

We’ve been seeing more sidewalk art around Wyoming. Lights On Afterschool HSCSD #1 shared a recipe that puts a twist on the classic sticks of chalk. Their puffy sidewalk paint features just a few ingredients that you may already have at home. Find it on Facebook and posted on our website at wyafterschoolalliance.org/art .
