The O'Reilly Minute

Dear Parents,

As Holy Week brings us closer to the great celebration of Easter we are reminded that Easter is a great time of hope in our Church.  The resurrection of Jesus gave the disciples great hope, despite incredible obstacles. Such hope can change the way we look at each and every day.

My hope for you is that this Easter break time provides an opportunity for your family to spend time praying together and playing together - creating family traditions and memories.

For those of you traveling, may your travel be safe.

May the miracle of Easter bring you blessings of renewed hope, faith, love and joy,

Kathy O’Reilly

P.S. Just a reminder that school will be closed on Monday April 8th for the solar eclipse. We will be sending home viewing glasses on Friday, April 5th.

Kepp the Conversation Going: Talking to Kids About Social Media

We will continue to keep the digital safety conversation going by sharing helpful articles and information for parents.

Talking to Kids About Social Media

One of the best ways to reduce the risks kids face online and through social media is a strong relationship with you. When you build trust and keep conversations open, you can work in partnership with your child to help them get the benefits of connecting online, while also improving their digital literacy and safety.

Click here for a link from Nationwide Children's Hospital about talking with kids about social media.

If you have digital safety apps or similar helpful information to share, or if you are a digital media professional willing to share your expertise for the benefit of our school community, please contact Allie Wing at mrs.wing@stbrigid-school.org.
