Hanyang Eng USA, Inc. (Hanyang) and the City of Cedar Park have reached an agreement that will establish a Hanyang national corporate headquarters in the community. Heads up for trick-or-treaters
Halloween is Tuesday, October 31! Not all trick-or-treaters will be wearing giant inflatable costumes or know the rules of the road. Please take extra caution when driving through neighborhoods and watch for spooky witches and brave superheroes roaming the streets looking for treats.
Police announce new tool for community to provide feedback
Soon, the Cedar Park Police will be sending out text message surveys after certain interactions with Dispatchers and Officers in the Department. Each survey will be a few questions about how satisfied you are, and ask for feedback. This may be after low priority calls or certain types of reports, and may happen a few hours or a few days after the interaction.

Your feedback is important and they want to know how they are doing. They also want to be able to provide positive feedback to staff, and to know if something can be improved.
Not everyone will receive a survey, and residents that do not want to participate can simply not respond. This cannot be used to report any type of emergency, criminal activity, or make a formal complaint with the Department.
Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, October 28
Cedar Park Police is hosting a Drug Take Back Day on October 28 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Police Department (911 Quest Parkway).

This is a great time to get rid of any unwanted & unused prescription drugs so they don't fall into the wrong hands! Bring unwanted pills for disposal (no liquids, needles).
