New pre-reg classes this year

Looking for more in-depth instruction? NICAR25 has several long-form workshops with smaller class sizes. Please note that these classes require pre-registration and range from $25 to $75, depending on the class. The additional cost guarantees a seat. Don't delay; these classes do sell out! Sign up now.

Honoring the best in data journalism

The winners of the 2024 Phil Meyer Award will be recognized at the award presentation on Friday, March 7.

These journalists will also share how they reported and produced the year's biggest stories in data journalism. From training an AI model to a "first-of-its-kind" geospatial analysis, IRE judges called this year's work "cutting-edge," "extraordinary" and "inspiring." Join their "Behind the story" session on Saturday, March 8.
