Most importantly, please keep Brad in your prayers during this time of transition.
| | A PRAYER FOR OUR ALL-PARISH RETREAT | | We lift up in prayer all who are traveling to and attending our All-Parish Retreat this weekend. May God watch everyone on their journeys and bring us together in the joy of fellowship. May this time away renew spirits, deepen faith and strengthen the bonds of love and community among all who gather. May everyone feel God’s presence, return home refreshed and carry with them a renewed sense of gratitude and connection. | | |
STREETS TO HOME: HELP OUR NEIGHBORS FIND HOME
Through Streets to Home Indy, at least 280 people experiencing homelessness in Indianapolis have found housing. Last year, St. Paul’s raised more than $50,000 and provided 18+ move-in kits to neighbors transitioning into housing. This year, St. Paul’s is committing $25,000 through its Faith in Action mission and inviting the congregation to match that gift with an additional $25,000. Learn more in Burrows Commons this Sunday (and on Sunday, November 15, as Rabbi Dr. Aaron Spiegel preaches at the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services and Chelsea Haring-Cozzi, CEO of CHIP, speaks at the 10:15 a.m. Adult Faith Forum). Donations will be accepted from November 15–22 [online, by check (memo: “Streets to Home”), or at the donation table in Burrows Commons]. Together, we can share Christ’s love and help more neighbors find a place to call home. Click below to learn more:

TUESDAY BOOK STUDY
Tuesdays, 12-1:15 p.m., Broad Ripple Brewpub
The Tuesday Book Study group invites you to join in learning together. They are now studying the book "The Islamic Jesus" by Mustafa Akyol. The book explores the question: "what if Islam and early Christianity shared more in common than we think?" Akyol explores the surprising connections between the first Muslims and the earliest Jewish followers of Jesus, who viewed him as a human Messiah and prophet, challenging readers to rethink the origins of both religions. All are invited to come, regardless of reading the book. Click here to email Larry Johnson with questions.
