Sunnyvale Announces Entertainment Lineup for 2025 Sunnyfest!

Featuring country music artists Danielle Bradbery and David Nail

The Town of Sunnyvale is excited to announce that award-winning country music artists Danielle Bradbery and David Nail will co-headline a full evening of live music, fireworks, drone show, food and family fun at the Town’s “Red, White and Boom!” Sunnyfest Celebration on Saturday, June 28, 2025. The Celebration will begin at 5 p.m. at Town Center Park, 356 E. Tripp Road.

The evening’s live music will feature artist Danielle Bradbery, a versatile and multifaceted recording artist who has spent the last decade crafting a unique and soulful sound that is rooted in country and blended with elements of pop, R&B and beyond. Renowned for her deeply personal lyrics, Bradbery has earned multiple ACM and CMT Awards nominations and collaborated with music giants like Diplo, Zac Brown Band, Thomas Rhett, Nick Jonas, Jordan Davis, and more.

Since her breakout at 16 years old when she won Season 4 of “The Voice,” Bradbery has consistently showcased her singular talent. Both her self-titled debut album in 2013 and the 2017 sophomore album “I Don't Believe We've Met” reached the Top Ten of the Billboard country albums chart. Recent singles such as "Never Have I Ever" and "Break My Heart Again," along with the GOLD-certified "Stop Draggin’ Your Boots," which has amassed more than 125 million streams to date, have resonated deeply with fans.

On Sept. 6, 2024, Bradbery released “Danielle,” her first album in more than six years and her first-ever independent release, with more new music releases coming this summer.

Hailing from Kennett, Missouri, David Nail is well-respected up and down Music Row. Some might even call him a “tour de force” as his songs pull no punches in evoking the demons with which he has wrestled through much of his life. The GRAMMY-nominated multi-platinum singer/songwriter’s early releases, I’m About To Come Alive, The Sound Of A Million Dreams, I’m A Fire and Fighter, ignited his reputation as an innovator and creative risk-taker yet left Nail feeling restless. This led to the departure of the only record company home he’d ever known, MCA Nashville, where he’d formed friendships that endure even now. Through dealing with his own journey of mental health and the feeling of needing to “rebel against what people expect you to be,” Nail began making his most “organic” work to date, David Nail & The Well Ravens, with Jason Hall and Andrew Petroff. That project liberated Nail and propelled him into his next adventure. Writing solo for the next few months led to his debut solo independent EP, "Oh, Mother," a reflective piece of work. Of the title track, Rolling Stone noted that “the song creeps in like a sunrise — quiet, restrained cello and keys are the only underpinning for Nail’s powerful vocals at first. But then it slowly builds to something more massive and majestic.” That release was followed by Bootheel 2020 and Bootheel 2021, projects dedicated to the singer/songwriter’s hometown in the “bootheel” of Missouri. Nail released an EP titled Best of Me in 2023, and the title track has seen heavy press support and country radio airplay. 2024 brought more touring than ever, two great single releases, “If I Could Call” and “Why,” featuring Aubrie Sellers. Nail plans on releasing the start of an excitingly different and elevated album project this year, leaving behind any self-imposed restrictions. In Nail’s own words, “My philosophy has always been, I just hope to have a good enough year that I can have a next year while staying as true to myself as I possibly can.” Find more at www.davidnail.com.

Festivalgoers will also enjoy the music of country music newcomer Scoot Teasley, who has been immersed in music since childhood. He evolved from church pews to a drum kit and now creates authentic country tunes with R&B and Soul influences. Praised by Billboard for his “distinct, warm vocals,” Teasley captivates with heartfelt storytelling.

Sunnyvale residents will also hear a local voice on the festival stage. Kyrsta McKade is a graduate of Sunnyvale High School and will open the evening’s musical program. Kyrsta McKade isn't here to blend in --she's here to blaze her own trail. Born and raised in Sunnyvale, Texas, now based in Nashville, she's the kind of artist who makes you feel something deep in your chest. With roots in classic country and a heart that beats for modern edge, Kyrsta's sound bridges the past and the present without asking permission. She's dropped three singles so far and each one's made noise. “What Mama Don't Know” hit 224K+ streams. “Heart On Ice” took it even further, passing 449K. Her newest release, “Heartless,” came out May 23 and it's already moving fast with 170K+ streams and counting. Her next single, “What Would Jesus Do,” drops June 11.

After great music, the night will wrap up with a fantastic firework show and a drone show featuring the fabulous drone work of Sky Elements, a 2024 “Americas Got Talent” finalist. The festivities will also include all kinds of family fun, including bounce houses, a train ride, games, food vendors and more to help celebrate America’s freedom and the great community spirit of Sunnyvale!
