I keep getting asked when we will return to hosting live, in-person events. And I say, “When I can do them safely.”

That’s one reason I’m hosting the webinars you see below with AllClear Healthcare.

Another reason is that I, as a small business owner and the de facto HR person for my team, need to be making good decisions about live, in-person events and when I can ask my team to attend or staff events.

It's one thing to make a personal decision. One that impacts you and you alone. It's quite another to make decisions that affect your team, and your community.

I've always said that I positioned Innovation Nights poorly for a pandemic. (Who knew?) We spent years bringing hordes of people together in crowded rooms, where they stood really close together and touched everyone's stuff.

TiE ScaleUp has opened applications for its ninth cohort. Scale Up is the first and only Seed+ to Series A startup Accelerator in Boston.
