14 Children and 8 Dancing Robots

This June, NYTB welcomed 14 participants to Robotics in Motion, our STEAM program for NYC children ages 8-13.

Hailing from seven different public and charter schools across NYC, the kids built LEGO Spike robots while learning the fundamentals of ballet, ultimately integrating the robots into a choreographed showcase for family and friends.

June 2025 Repertory Session

Ten talented pre-professional and collegiate dancers wrapped up the second year of NYTB's Summer Repertory Session.

Dancers had the opportunity to work directly with NYTB Artistic Director, Steven Melendez, and other distinguished faculty to hone their technique and learn the company's unique Theatre Ballet style.

Echoes of Her: Women in Choreography

Saturday, August 16 | 6:30pm & 8:30pm

Location: Arts on Site

"Echoes of Her" is a performance dedicated to uplifting and celebrating female voices in contemporary ballet. It features current NYTB dancer Abigail-Rose Crowell and former NYTB artist Amanda Treiber. The evening also includes works from Gemma Bond, Katy E. Cashin, Maia Culbreath, Kailei Sin & Michelle Thompson.
