Dear Friends,

"You cannot move into the next chapter without fully turning the page." - Bri Laboss

In a year that has already been filled with so much change, it is hard to accept that I have yet another transition on the horizon. Over the past four years, I have found my home in Atlanta and at All Saints', sharing in community with so many wonderful individuals. And over the past two years, I have had the privilege of being your Young Adults' Coordinator, a position I did not take lightly. As many of you have heard the story, when I arrived to Atlanta, I searched "accepting church communities" and created a list of ones I would check out over the weeks. My first (and only) stop was All Saints'. Between the warm welcome from Ellen, the instant connections I made with Junmey, Rodell, Molly, and Lauren, and the fact that a church was celebrating Pride month - I knew I had found my home. Over the years here, I have been able to make more connections, more friendships, and deepen my relationship with God. All of which, I will be forever grateful for.

When I moved from Pittsburgh to begin my doctoral program here, I always knew the possibility of leaving for internship was on the table - but choosing it, makes it much sadder somehow. Although I look forward to the amazing training and opportunities that await me in my new position at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, I also hold the weight of all I am leaving behind. I pray for solace in this decision and ask that each of you keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

I look forward to continuing to grow my connections with each of you over the next few months. And rest assured that it will be with great care that I transfer this position over to the next coordinator. I don't know what life will look like after my year-long internship ends, but the foundation I have built here will always have a pull on me. If destiny allows, may our paths cross again.

Join me also, in saying goodbyes to our fellow young adults who will be leaving us for their own next steps: Jacob Clifton Albritton and Sara Keithly. They have both touched my life in ways that words cannot describe and I thank them so much for their friendship over the years. I know personally how grateful they both have been for this church community, and I hope you will all join me in prayers and well wishes for their next adventures!

Well wishes,

Tasia Blair (she/her)
