As always life is busy and God is good. In December my youngest son, Bryson, graduated with his Bachelor from Sam Houston University with an Engineering Technology Degree. He did get a job but not in his field using his degree so if you have an opening please let me know !! I'm glad that we took a trip together this summer as he's starting his adult life and moving on. He went on the trip to Bulgaria and Greece to help minister to the gypsies with me. For those of you who do not know me except as a broker, I spend a lot of time with my family. My oldest son is a personal injury attorney and has two sons, 10 & 16 years old. His wife is a stay at home mom. My daughter was a teacher but now in the very important role of also being a stay at home mom with a 5 year old boy and a 6 year old daughter. My son-in-law is an engineer. My favorite role of all of the many things I do is being Meemaw to all my grandkids. This December, as in years past, we did the homeless packages and I did not advertise it as much as in the past so not quite as much help but still successful. I don't take pictures much when delivering the packages as it is very busy when they gather around and then I want to take time to pray with anyone that would like to or just wants to talk and needs special attention. I just don't want them to ever feel like they are being exploited and having their picture put out to the public. Some of these people are street people and it's really there way of life. I see them month after month when I'm out giving away things. Some are just in a rough patch and looking to get back to work and in a home. I did get my book finished in December and published in late January. The mortgage business has really took off in mid January and it's very busy. It's not because rates have came down so I'm not sure why but thinking people are just full of hope and don't want to wait anymore to get into a home. Always remember you marry the house and date the rate as you can always refinance when rates do come down!! Borrowers I have had prequalified for awhile are starting to get their contracts accepted and even getting some closing cost paid. The last few days have been wild so not sure what the market will do. Please click below if you want to get a prequalification letter.

Mary and Shirlene helped put the packages together as I had bought lots of things to stuff them with and we also had some donations. It took awhile to put all those bags together so we did not get them delivered that day. So my dog, Raccoon, went with me and we would fill the wagon and walk the streets downtown and then go and refill it again. Over several days I did get them all passed out as I loaded all the rest of them in by car on the 3rd day and went out and under the bridges over close to the convention center there are still tents and many that needed supplies and I was wishing I had 100 more !!!

I have now got a website up and running so people who need help can put their needs and people who want to help can respond directly to them. Some do need $$ but sometimes it mechanic or some other type of service needed they just can't afford. I many times just help directly but there is so much need out there locally and all over the world. I'm hoping this will take off as I know others want to help as well but not sure where their money goes when they donate their hard earned dollars or might not have $$ but would certainly help with their knowledge and labor. This is designed to put people that need help directly in contact with those who want to help. It is a non-profit with the IRS so if you need a receipt and pay thru the website you can get a tax deduction. With the general deduction so high many people don't help for the tax deduction but just because they desire to help others. If you need help you can log in and put what you need and your contact information so people can contact you. SO you can click below and get on the website and technology is not my strong point so any help in improving it is welcomed. This is new so will take time to take off but hope to see it happen to help individuals, families or even villages. Click below:

My citizenship is in Heaven and I consider my stay here on earth as temporary. I would like to invite everyone to join the Kingdom of God which is for eternity. So no matter what earthly country your passport has on it, it is a physical location and won't get you into the place that Jesus can prepare for you. Your journey starts as soon as you decide to accept the free gift of salvation thru grace. Your sins are paid thru the blood of Jesus and as soon as you make that decision the Holy Spirit will dwell in you and your body then is the temple of the living God. I'm always available to talk as this is my favorite conversation or you can just call out JESUS, JESUS, JESUS and He will meet you where you are at. It's not about religion, it's about your relationship with God. No one can do this for you and no one but you and God, know your true relationship with your creator. It's not about rules and religion, as Jesus only had 2, love God and love others.
