Good Morning Folks,

On March 18th, we will be hosting the City of Rancho Mirage for our Public Officials Luncheon. We will be back in the Sunset Suite Room at Agua Caliente Resort/Casino/Spa in Rancho Mirage. The flyer is available on the website calendar and registration is now open. Please make sure your reservation is submitted before noon on March 16th.

The following evening, March 19th, the Cambria Gallery on Cook Street in Palm Desert will host the Desert Valleys Builders Association Networking Night. They always provide a great event for networking and showcasing a quality product.

We are also working on several upcoming events, including the DVBA Anniversary Party. These events should be of interest to you, including Networking Nights at Meritage and D.R. Horton community projects, as well as a dinner in Brawley at the Stockman’s Club showcasing major developments in Imperial County. Additional events will include Public Officials Luncheons with the City of Palm Springs and Greater Palm Springs Economic Development, and a General Membership Dinner focused on potential passenger rail stops and train service in the Coachella Valley. Stay tuned for official announcements.

Thank you to those who attended County Supervisor V. Manuel Perez’s Blue Ribbon Committee Meeting. The County provided a great deal of information about current and future projects, as well as potential policy and planning practice changes. These meetings are expected to continue on a quarterly basis. If you wish to be added to the email invite list, please contact James Brownyard at James@TheDVBA.org.
