Dear Ranger Community,
Today is Giving Tuesday and the National Ranger Memorial Foundation invites you to join us in fulfilling our mission of preserving and enhancing the legacy of the Ranger Memorial while also empowering the Ranger community through education. Your generous contributions play an essential role in supporting both the upkeep of the Ranger Memorial and our scholarship program dedicated to Rangers and their families.
Why Your Contribution Matters:
- Preservation and Enhancement of the National Ranger Memorial
This year, we undertook significant repairs and enhancements to the Ranger Memorial. These included painting all the fixtures, pressure washing the stones and historical markers, and installing a much-needed, updated stone locator. These improvements came at a cost exceeding $20,000. Looking ahead to 2025, we plan to implement even more repairs and upgrades, including the addition of the Friends of the Rangers tablets.
- College Scholarships for the Ranger Community
While our commitment to maintaining the Ranger Memorial is unwavering, the Foundation's scholarship initiative creates an even more profound impact. By funding college scholarships for Rangers and their families, donors like you provide a tangible and lasting difference. The scholarships we offer open doors to higher education at some of the most prestigious universities across the country, fostering personal and professional growth for our recipients.
In 2024, your contributions have an unparalleled reach, benefiting Rangers and their families attending prominent universities nationwide. From coast to coast, our scholarship recipients have pursued their educational dreams at institutions including:
- Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
- University of Georgia
- Vanderbilt University
- University of Michigan
- University of Alabama
- Auburn University
- University of Oklahoma
-
Texas A&M University
