Fall Reading Recommendations


Fletcher and the Falling Leaves by Julia Rawlings.

As the leaves fall from his favorite tree, Fletcher worries that something is terribly wrong. But then Winter comes and with it a wonderful surprise.

 

The Very Hungry Caterpillar's First Fall by Eric Carle.

There are many ways to spend a cool fall day. Join The Very Hungry Caterpillar and his friends in this exploration of the season. They can learn all about the seasonal sensory experiences, like looking at the leaves as they change color, listening to the wind, the warmth of a cozy sweater.

 

Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall by Kenard Pak.

Join a young girl as she takes a walk through the forest and town, greeting all the signs of the coming season. In a conversation with every flower and creature and gust of wind, she says goodbye to summer and welcomes autumn.

 

Pete the Cat, Falling for Autumn by Kimberly and James Dean.

Pete the cat isn't sure about the changing of seasons from summer to autumn. But when he discovers corn mazes, hay rides, and apple picking, Pete realizes there's so much to enjoy and be thankful for about autumn.

School looks like so much fun! Biscuit wants to go to class and meet the teacher- but dogs don't go to school. What will the teacher do when Biscuit sneaks in anyway?
