Greetings!
Two weeks ago, Nancy and I asked you, our Promise Child family, to partner with us in prayer as we sought the Lord's direction for the future. I am excited to tell you He heard your prayers and answered.
We spent a week away by ourselves, seeking the Lord for wisdom and clear direction, and we now have a God-inspired plan for the next step for us and Promise Child. It is with humble joy and excitement that we share that I am being called to transition into leading Promise Child full-time (job description & vision below).
When we approached our Promise Child board with this idea, their unanimous response was a resounding, "Finally!" Our whole team is renewed with a revived zeal for reaching the lost and equipping the saints worldwide, and I am humbled to be part of this fresh vision.
Because our heart in this time is to not take any funding from the ministry, I will raise my support as a partner-funded independent missionary to ensure that what is donated for God's kingdom through Promise Child is used entirely for that purpose.
We will trust God for our provision, as many great missionaries have done before us. I love what Hudson Taylor said, "Let us see that we keep God before our eyes; that we walk in His ways, and seek to please and glorify Him in everything, great and small. Depend upon it, God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply."
