Ice Cream Social Fundraiser Check Delivery
- A Sweet Success Thanks to Our Community
We’re delighted to share the results of our recent Ice Cream Social in support of the Williamstown Youth Center. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to deliver a check for over $600 to the Youth Center last week.
This event was more than just a fundraiser, it marked the beginning of a new collaboration. We’ve launched a scarecrow-making activity with the Youth Center, and these imaginative creations will be on display at the co-op during the upcoming Wild Smoke 2025 celebration.

The Co-op was proud to present a check for $2,041.38 to the Al Nelson Friendship Center Food Pantry, thanks to the generous donations from our community through the August 2025 Every Penny Counts Program. These funds will directly support the pantry’s mission to serve our neighbors in North Adams, Clarksburg, and Florida Mountain with dignity and respect.
