COVID-19 Virtual Classes
TNEC delivered its first ever online training classes this past April.
When the Coronavirus forced TNEC to suspend all traditional classroom training, TNEC did not sit idle. With the assistance of a grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), TNEC developed its first online curriculum-a 2 Hour Virtual Awareness Course on COVID-19.
In the following three months, TNEC has delivered 27 classes with 681 participants. We followed that course up with another course, Reopening Your Workplace with COVID-19.
We are now converting our 8 Hour Refresher course online.
As the demands change for our clients, we realize we have to change to support our clients' needs.
Stay tuned for new virtual offering announcements.

5 Year Grant Update
In November 2019, The New England Consortium – Civil Service Employees Association (TNEC-CSEA) applied for another five years of funding from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences – Worker Training Program.  In March we learned that we had received a very good score by a large committee of outside reviewers. In early June we learned from NIEHS-WTP that we would indeed be funded for another five years. We are grateful for the financial support from NIEHS-WTP that we have received since 1987. We look forward to providing worker health and safety training throughout the New England and New York region over the next five years and longer.
