FALL QUARTERLY ISSUE

Murdock Charitable Trust invests $400,000 in new Tri-Cities behavioral health center

When LCSNW opened the doors to its new facility in Kennewick this summer, it marked an exciting chapter in serving youth and families facing mental and behavioral health challenges across the Tri-Cities. Today, we’re grateful to share another important milestone: LCSNW has received a $400,000 New Facility Renovation grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust...

Welcoming our 2026-27 intern cohort

As the fall season progresses, students are settling more into their new classes, and LCSNW’s investment in ongoing staff development continues. This October, the LCSNW Tri-Cities team is excited to welcome our 2026-27 cohort of mental health interns as they begin their educational and professional journey while helping strengthen mental health services in our community.

A Message from our District Director, Sharon Gentry

As we prepare to “fall back” and gain an extra hour, it feels a bit ironic that the clocks are slowing down just as our excitement for the season is picking up. This time of year is filled with so much to anticipate and celebrate, from our upcoming Boo Bash for families and Seahawks Watch Party, to providing Thanksgiving meals for those who could use the extra support and, of course, our beloved Holiday Lane event. While the days may be getting shorter, our opportunities to connect, give back, and create meaningful memories continue to grow.

Fall is a season that naturally invites reflection, gratitude, and togetherness. It reminds us to slow down long enough to appreciate the people, friendships, and partnerships that make our work here at LCSNW so special.

A new front door: Introducing our redesigned LCSNW website

After months of planning and teamwork, LCSNW has launched a new website, our first since 2017. It’s more than a new look—it’s shaped by what we heard from staff, clients, and donors about how to make the site easier to use.

LCSNW adds energy to Seahawks partnership

For a third straight year, Compass Housing Alliance, the housing division of LCSNW, was selected as a Spirit of 12 partner with the Seattle Seahawks. Compass had its signature home game at Lumen Field on October 4. It was a fantastic day of community building as Compass volunteers, alongside their LCSNW colleagues, sold raffle tickets and raised more than $140,000 -- a Compass regular season record!

* All events listed take place at the LCSNW Kennewick office on Canal Drive unless indicated otherwise.
