🌿 Happening Saturday!
Therapeutic Yoga for Youth: Child & Adolescent Development, Sensory Integration & Primitive Reflexes
Hi Friends,
This Saturday, WE GATHER and today is the last day to register!
I’m really looking forward to sharing this workshop because we’re going to explore development from the ground up - looking at how the developing brain, body, sensory systems, movement, and nervous system are all interconnected.
We’ll explore the neurodevelopmental sequence and how early experiences with movement, gravity, rhythm, repetition, sensory input, and relationship help shape the developing nervous system.
From there, we’ll look at sensory-motor development and primitive reflexes- what primitive reflexes are, signs that early reflexive patterns may still be strongly expressed, and how these patterns may influence body awareness, balance, coordination, sensory processing, motor planning, attention, and nervous system regulation.
Most importantly, this will be an experiential workshop. We’ll bring these concepts into the body through yoga, rhythmic movement, breath, and sensory-based practices, giving you practical ways to support sensory-motor development, nervous system regulation, and embodied learning.
This isn't about “fixing” a child or simply trying to inhibit a reflex. It’s about understanding what the developing nervous system may be communicating and asking: "What experiences can we offer that give the nervous system more options?"

Can’t join us live? A recording will be available for 4 months, so you can participate on your own time.
If you work with children, teens, or young adults and want to deepen your understanding of the relationship between development, movement, sensory integration, primitive reflexes, and nervous system regulation, I would love to have you join us.
Today is the final day to register.
