As part of exhibits, we will also have a community resource table for ACMHAI member organizations to share informational sheets and/or flyers, etc. Please plan to bring at least 40 copies of any documents you wish to display on the resource table.

Best Practice Training

The Best Practice Training session is titled 'Challenges and Changes for the I/DD Community'. This session will include important updates and information and how ACMHAI members can work with state and local partners to increase resources, promote inclusivity and accessibility, and raise awareness about the needs and strengths of the I/DD community. The featured speakers for this session are Tonya Piephoff, Director of IDHS Division of Developmental Disabilities and Josh Evans, CEO of Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities. Unfortunately, Kathy Carmody, CEO of The Institute on Public Policy for People with Disabilities is unable to join us due to a medical issue. We are currently looking for another speaker to fill her time slot and will notify members asap!
