1.) New State Department of Health Early Learning/Preschool COVID protocol guidance webinar
On Monday, March 7th the state Department of Health and the Department of Children, Youth and Families is expected to release updated Early Learning/Preschool Covid Protocol Guidelines. As soon as I receive the update I will share the link with you and highlight any changes. On Tuesday, March 8th the Department of Health and DCYF will hold a joint Webinar to discuss the updates and answer questions. I will attend the webinar and will communicate any important information to you at the conclusion of the meeting. If you would also like to attend please see the link below for information.

2.) March Early Learning Roundtable – Math Programming: Thursday, March 17th at 4:00pm
During the Early Learning Professional Development Day I was able to listen to the two sessions that focused on Math. Our Early Learning Roundtable time will be spent either talking about your main takeaways from those sessions that you are implementing in your classroom or if you did not attend the sessions how you bring Math into your classrooms. The hope for these roundtables is for you to share what you do at your program and then get great ideas from what others are doing. Please join us at the Zoom link below:
3.) March Licensed Program Webinar Virtual and In-Person Monitoring Visits
Instead of having this webinar at a scheduled time, we will be recording the webinar and I will be sending the recording to you right away so you have the information. We are planning to record on Monday and I will have the link out to you no later than Tuesday. The recording will highlight virtual and in-person monitoring visits from DCYF. What can you expect, how you should prepare and how do you interpret the report you receive following the meeting.
4.) Licensed Only: New Email Address for Education Verification on MERIT
This message is to inform you that the email address associated with DCYF's Education Verification process has changed to education.verification@centralia.edu. Please update your address book since the former email address is no longer active.
Additional Information
When early learning providers go through the Education Verification process, an education application is completed in MERIT and copies of supporting documents are sent to Centralia College for review. \
Thank you and have a great week
