Greetings!
As the final hours of 2025 tick by, all of us at Windham County Humane Society want to pause and say one heartfelt word: THANK YOU!!!
Because of your generosity, this year has been nothing short of extraordinary.
We’ve been floored by the overwhelming number of new beginnings you made possible—and by the sheer number of owned animals who received vital veterinary care through our clinic.
Here are just a few numbers:
- 808 pets went home!
- 1000+ spay and neuter surgeries for publicly owned (not shelter) pets!
- 2,442 vaccines given and 267 microchips placed by our wellness clinic!
- 3,603 pets came through our doors for food, shelter, warmth, medicine and love!
Thanks to you, 2025 has been a truly record-breaking year.
As I reflect on the months behind us, I can’t help but reminisce about the two-, three-, and four-legged critters who passed through our doors.
Each one arrived with a story—and each one was met with compassion, medical care, and hope. You helped provide healing for injured animals, comfort for the frightened, and loving new homes for those who needed them most.
Now, as we look ahead to 2026, our doors will remain open for even more dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, and other pocket pets—animals facing illness, abandonment, or simply needing a safe place to land for a day.
Your support ensures that when the next animal arrives, help is already waiting.
Will you join me in making a donation in these final hours of 2025 so we’re ready to help the very first animal of 2026?
Your generosity carries hope from one year into the next—and changes lives every step of the way.
With deepest gratitude and warm wishes for the New Year,
