Greetings Connect K8 Families,

We hope you are enjoying your final weeks of break and have found opportunities for both rest AND play. This newsletter is a "Pre Welcome Back" message, in anticipation of the many questions you might have about the upcoming start to the year! We will continue to share information with you in the coming days, including additional newsletters/emails/blog posts, so please be sure that your contact info is updated and that you are checking e-mails often and consistently.

First, please join us in welcoming our new staff members, Brenda, Theo, Josh, Melissa, and Sage! In the coming weeks, you'll have a chance to get to know more about each of our new teammates and their roles on campus.

Our staff will be busy the next two weeks engaging in professional development, project planning, and preparation for students to return! The first week of homeschooling begins on August 15th and the first week of classes begins the week of August 22nd. Our school day runs from 9:15-3:15pm.

You will be receiving welcome e-mails from your classroom teachers this week! If you do not hear from your classroom teacher via e-mail by Friday August 5th at 3:00pm, please contact our front office at connect@davincischools.org.

We look forward to welcoming you back and continuing to share additional information in the coming weeks that will help you feel best prepared.

Join us at one of our upcoming orientation zoom meetings to learn more about the Connect program and how to best be prepared for the 2022-2023 school year! New families are especially encouraged to attend, but the meetings are meant to be helpful for everyone in our community! We hope to see you there!
