9:30am (EDT) Katonah Yoga® Flow with Gail Grossman
Thursday - Live-Streamed Only
Katonah Yoga® inspired vinyasa flow. Katonah® Yoga is a syncretic Hatha yoga practice developed by Nevine Michaan over 40 years. She and her teachers incorporate classical Hatha yoga with Taoist theory, geometry, magic, mythology, metaphor, and imagination — in a practical framework designed to potentiate personal and communal well-being. Framing the practice, maps of time and personal space are defined and refined. Themes using asana as origami, manipulating form for function, and developing a sense of personal measure are incorporated in Katonah® Yoga practices.
Katonah® Yoga is organized around three principles of esoteric dialogue: all polarities are mediated by trinity; the universe has pattern, pattern belies intelligence; by virtue of repetition there is potential for insight.T o find out more about Katonah Yoga® Visit:

12:30pm (EDT) LIVE-Iyenger with Rita Ong
Tuesdays
Live-Streamed Only
*THIS CLASS IS NOT RECORDED* STUDENTS SHOULD TURN THEIR CAMERAS ON. Iyengar Yoga, one of the world’s most widely-practiced forms, emphasizes correct alignment of all parts of the body within each yoga pose, by holding the poses. This precision builds strength and stamina–balance and flexibility–and a new sense of well being. Students learn to exist fully and vibrantly in the present moment working towards achieving meditation in action. Use of props, such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, straps, and chairs help to facilitate learning and adjust yoga postures to individual body alignment. By the use of props, Iyengar Yoga makes it possible for every practitioner to achieve the shape of the pose safely. The Iyengar Method is demonstration, instruction, observation, and correction. The teacher needs to be able to see the students on camera to guide them during practice.
