Sunday Worship on September 13th at 10 a.m.

In-Person and Online

This Sunday, we begin a new 6-week worship series called "Analog Spirituality." In a world increasingly dominated by digital technology and Artificial Intelligence, this series will be an invitation to hold fast to aspects of faith and spirituality that do not depend on technology or digital devices. It is rooted in the earth and creation, in flesh and blood bodies, and in values that cannot be reduced to or reproduced by computer code or an algorithm. We'll explore values and practices like slowing down, embodied relationships, affirming humanity, celebrating our senses, non-binary consciousness, and our interconnectedness with all of creation.

On the first Sunday of the series, we will be reminded that being fully human takes time, intention, and attention...and therefore patience.

On Sunday morning the Sanctuary Choir is back, Bob B. will read scripture, Rev. Jeff will lead music, and Pastor Jeremy will offer the children's message and sermon. We hope you can join us for a meaningful time of worship -- in-person or online!

On Sunday morning, childcare for children 5 and under is available starting at 9:45 a.m.

Miss a Sunday?

Anonymous Paddle Raise Supports Fall Dinner & Auction

More fruit and deeper roots!

$9,206.58

raised towards our goal of $18,000!

The first $10,000 in Paddle Raise donations continue to be matched by a generous donor!

The paddle raise is a way to support the Fall Dinner & Auction with a generous donation whether you attend the event or not. At a benefit auction, a paddle raise is when different levels of donations are announced – like $25, then $50, then $100, and so on – and people raise their bidder number (their “paddle”) to indicate what amount they’d like to give. Instead of doing this in-person at the Fall Dinner & Auction, we’re doing it before the event and we’re doing it anonymously.

English Language Learner (ELL) Summer Update

Fall flyers now available!

The fall ELL term begins the third week of September and we can always use more tutors and volunteers. The in-person classes are on Monday evening from 6:30-8 pm and Tuesday and Thursday morning from 10:30-12. You don't need to have any special skills or experience. You simply need to be kind, open to people from around the world, and speak English!

Another way to help is to help spread the word about our ELL classes. Flyers to pass out are available on the table in the church lobby.  We have free childcare during our morning, in-person classes. More information is on our website at tiella.org and by email to  rosemary.carlsen@gmail.com.

How to Make a Change to a Recurring Pushpay Donation

If you have recurring gifts (donations) set up in Pushpay, but do not need to change anything, then no action is required. Your recurring gifts will continue as before.

However, if you want to add a recurring gift and/or make changes to existing gift(s), the link below will walk you through those steps. Also, anytime you are going to use a new or updated credit card you will need to update the payment information. Most of us make changes so seldom that we forget exactly how to do it.

You don’t need a User ID or Password, but you do need to know the mobile phone number associated with your Pushpay account, and to have that phone with you.

If you have questions please contact our Treasurer, Rick Beadnell at

503-616-8647 or by email: rbeadn@aol.com.
