Dear Glenn,

Not long ago you received our 2024 Spring Appeal in your home address. It’s more important than ever to support WILPF US in this critical year.

WILPF Needs Your Support — Now More Than Ever!

Donate now!

In preparation for WILPF’s 110th Anniversary next year, consider a one-time contribution of $110 or become a monthly donor at $10.

Recurring donations are secure, and there are good reasons other nonprofits (like PBS and UNICEF) are increasingly relying on monthly giving for consistent sustainability. Join us in sustaining our vital work for peace and women’s rights.

2024 promises to be the most consequential year of our lifetimes – filled with so many challenges. WILPF IS already meeting those challenges head on!

  • Since late 2023, WILPF US has persistently advocated for a ceasefire in Gaza, joined with advocacy and protests.
  • On January 22nd, marking the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons' third anniversary, we mobilized actions across the US.
  • Our focus on refugees and immigrants is intensifying support for immigrants in many branches including, Boston, Philadelphia, and our newly restarted Chicago WILPF branch.
  • From March 11-22, WILPF US participated in the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). Our UN Practicum in Advocacy and Local to Global Program brought four inspiring young women activists and four seasoned WILPF members to participate in strategic national and global networking and organizing.
  • On March 19th, we celebrated the release of Life of Libby: Chasing Peace & Justice with Humor, Guts, and Passion, honoring the legacy of long time Philadelphia WILPF member Libby Frank who passed in Decem-ber 2023 at 95. Be like Libby! There’s still time to claim one of ten copies of the book by donating $110 or more, or committing to a $10 a month recurring gift, to keep us sustainable for the future.

OR… if the books are gone: There’s still time to be like Libby and support WILPF’s work in this Spring Appeal!

Donate now!

Finally, register now for the virtual 35th Triennial Congress via ZOOM, from (Wed., May 29-Sun., June 2). The theme is Water on the Frontlines for Peace. If you are already a WILPF members, you will shortly receive – via a postcard – the special registration link for a limited-time member discounted on the registration cost.

We welcome both non-members and new members to attend the plenaries, workshops, and much more at the non-member rates — by individual day or the five-day Congress. The best value is for the full Congress, for only $75. For program schedule with presenters’ details, and more information, please go to: www.wilpfus.org/35thCongress.

In love, gratitude, and solidarity,
