For the Y's Men Annual Meeting and Picnic

If you would like to enjoy a free lunch at the Y's Men Annual Meeting and Picnic, you have until 5:00 pm today to submit your selection. Click the blue button below to make it happen.

The event will be at the Pavilion at Sherwood Island State Park this Thursday (May 23). Sign in will begin at 9:30 am; coffee, donuts and bagels will be available at 10:00 am; and the annual meeting will start at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch.

Take advantage of the opportunity to meet and socialize with other Y’s Men.

Learn about "the state of the Y's Men" and celebrate the induction of new officers and directors.

Enjoy lunch by the Sound on a beautiful afternoon at Sherwood Island.

Y's Men Memorial Day Parade Float Needs

A Woman to Portray A USO Entertainer

This year's Y's Men's Memorial Day Parade float honors the USO's contributions to those in uniform. The float replicates a typical USO show, and a woman is needed to portray one of the many entertainers who visited the troops and raised their spirits.

If you know a lady who would like to channel her inner entertainer, please urge her to volunteer to be in the parade. It will be a lot of fun waving to the crowd, being on the Y's Men float, and honoring the many important women who have entertained men and women in uniform for more than 80 years.
