We would like to recognize our great supporter and past speaker,

for her work as the Chair of the CHOC Children's Gala 2020. The event took place on Saturday, February 8th at the Disneyland Resort with a record breaking 1,100 attendees. Lady Antebellum was the featured entertainer and the gala raised nearly $5 million benefiting the Children's Hospital Orange County's mental health initiative. Congratulations to Niloofar on this amazing accomplishment!

Our New York members also came out to support as she tours the country with her book.
This exciting story features a brilliant, young Iranian American girl on a mission in space. Representation in Young Adult books is crucial, & we’re proud to support Alexandra during this journey.

Winter Wellness Retreat in Los Angeles

IAWF's LA Rising Leaders Chapter hosted our second Winter Wellness Retreat this past Sunday, Feb. 23rd. Participants enjoyed a full day of activities and informative sessions aimed towards connecting the mind, body, and spirit. We were joined by incredible speakers who shared their wisdom about finding joy, practicing wellness, and shifting to a more sustainable lifestyle. We'd like to thank our amazing LA Rising Leaders for all their hard work to ensure that this event was yet another success!
