You asked for it, you got it! In Discover Haverford’s most recent consumer surveys, a bookstore was the most requested retail shop, so we are so pleased to welcome Moore Books to the Oakmont section of Havertown!
Owner Lori Moore grew up in Springfield but has lived in the Chatham Park section of Havertown for the past ten years. “I love the community in Havertown. It’s a great place to be raising my son, because people are so friendly and kind, and I love the down to earth, old-fashioned atmosphere. My father grew up on Ralston Ave, just a stone’s throw from my shop,” explains Lori, “so I’ve been familiar with Havertown my whole life, and now I am excited to be opening a business here.
