CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY

The Lantern Hill Valley Alliance (LHVA) is dedicated to environmental stewardship and encourages all individuals to get involved. For boating, regardless of the type of boat or float you are using, the mantra is: "Clean, Drain, Dry". CHECK ALL PARTS OF YOUR BOAT AND TRAILER! Additionally, it is vital to check your fishing gear and dispose of all plant fragments on land. By doing so, you help prevent the spread of Hydrilla and other invasive aquatic plants and animals, and protect our precious waterways for future generations. Together, we can preserve the health of Connecticut's rivers and lakes and their ecosystems.
