Good Afternoon,

I hope this email finds you well on the eve of our January board meeting.

I’d like to thank everyone that liked, shared, and reposted our letter to the Mayor, urging him to work with the MTA to ensure that the subways run during all the hours that vaccinations are being given. Speaking of vaccines, New Yorkers ages 65 and over are now eligible for vaccination (it was 75 and over). To schedule an appointment, click here or call 877-VAX-4NYC.

Hopefully, this helps us get to the necessary immunity levels so we can do things like go to restaurants, concerts, see family whenever we’d want, and of course, attend Community Board meetings. But we’re not there yet, and for that reason, tomorrow’s board meeting, as referenced above, will be on zoom beginning at 6:30.

With that, I’ll recommend reading on below, maybe a well-timed (certification is still scheduled for the 19th) and reread of our Gowanus related writing, stay safe, and have a good Tuesday.
