Hoagie Sales are underway, and we are just two weeks from the sales deadline on September 4. Support this wonderful LCHS tradition by purchasing your hoagies today!
We also need volunteers! Hoagie Prep begins September 8 and continues through the week leading up to Hoagie Day on September 13. It takes hundreds of helping hands to make this tradition a success! Parents can sign up through the Sign-Up Genius link, and students should sign up on the Serve Board outside of Spiritual Life.
| | MINI SCHOOL NIGHT REMINDER | | A reminder that we will be holding our Mini-School Night, Wednesday, August 27, 2025. This parent event will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm. We will begin the evening in the Bueter Gym with prayer, announcements, and an overview of the evening. We will then run a “mini” schedule with each of your child’s classes meeting for 5 minutes. Teachers will introduce themselves and provide an overview of the course. Please come with a copy of your child’s schedule which can be accessed on RenWeb. The Knights Kastle will also be open this evening, checks will be accepted for Cafeteria payments, etc. Due to limited parking, please consider carpooling to campus. | | Last Friday, our school community came together for our first All-School Mass of the year, celebrating the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. During the liturgy, SGA unveiled our 2025-2026 school theme — Building for the Future — signifying our commitment to investing in our facilities and resources to provide the best education in Central Kentucky. Guided by Mary’s example of faith, we look forward to a year of growth, unity, and excellence. | | Last Friday, during our first All-School Mass, we had a special blessing for Diego Acosta, who served as a Spiritual Life Associate last year. He will now be returning to school in Chicago to pursue the priesthood. Diego has been an incredible blessing to our school community, and we cannot wait to see all the lives he will touch. | | Yesterday, we held our annual Freshman Breakfast. Students enjoyed Chick-fil-A, cookies, and snacks while starting their high school journey together. A special thank you to the Law Offices of Lisa J. Oeltgen, PLLC, for generously sponsoring this event and helping us celebrate our newest Knights in such a meaningful way. | | LCHS THEATRE ANNOUNCES SHOWS | | The LCHS Theatre announced the 2025–26 season lineup this week, featuring a dynamic mix of classics and favorites: Julius Caesar, The Game’s Afoot (or Holmes for the Holidays), Alice in Wonderland, and Little Women: The Broadway Musical. Get ready for a year full of drama, mystery, imagination, and music on the LCHS stage! | | |
Yesterday, we honored the heavenly birthday of Father Norman Fischer, whose life of faith, joy, and service continues to inspire us all. May we celebrate his memory by living with the same kindness, passion, and faith that he so beautifully shared.
One meaningful way to continue Father Norman’s legacy is by supporting the Father Norman Fischer Scholarship Fund, which helps make Catholic education possible underserved families. Your generosity ensures that his mission of faith and love carries forward for generations to come.

Support What You Love is a new campaign in conjunction with the uKnight Fund that allows you to make a meaningful impact while celebrating what matters most to you at Lexington Catholic. With a $2,000 donation, your gift will be split three ways: $500 to the area of school life you choose—whether it’s an athletic team, club, academic department, or another program you’re passionate about—$500 to the Father Norman Fischer Fund, which provides additional tuition assistance for students with the greatest need, and the remainder to the uKnight Fund. The uKnight Fund is essential to our school’s operations, helping bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student. It also directly supports our tuition assistance program. As a special thank you, you’ll receive one of our new SEASONAL SIGNS to proudly display a message of your choice—celebrating your student, promoting your business, or showing your school spirit.
To make your $2,000 donation today, please contact Anna Wagner, Vice President of Advancement, at awagner@lexingtoncatholic.com.

We are thrilled to announce that we are celebrating our 75th anniversary in the fall of 2026! To commemorate this milestone, we’ve partnered with PCI to create an oral history project filled with stories, memories, and photos from our incredible alumni.
Postcards and/or emails were sent to alumni on July 7 with phone numbers to call to update your information and to share your LCHS memories. Your contributions will help us create a timeless keepsake that reflects the rich history of LCHS. As a bonus, PCI will also collect updated contact information to help us keep you informed about all things LCHS. There is no cost to participate—this project is entirely about connection, history, and preserving our legacy. PCI is offering the opportunity to purchase a copy of the book or optional LCHS apparel, should you choose to do so. Help us make this project truly special by sharing your unique LCHS experience!
