NAPSACC Wellness Grant Opportunity

This grant provides an opportunity to engage in a continuous quality improvement process focused on obesity prevention practices and policies within an early care and education setting. The program utilizes Go NAPSACC, on online, self-assessment and action planning tool.

Qualifying programs can receive up to $500 in grant funding, as well as meeting STARS performance standard LM.3.4.10 and/or bonus points in the FC performance standards.

Outdoor Time is Good for Your Kids' Eyesight

Research shows that spending at least two hours outside each day is one of the most important things children can do to protect their eyesight. And that's important, because the number of kids with nearsightedness - or myopia - has been growing rapidly in the U.S., and in may other parts of the world.
