Dues To Do
IRP Detroit is a membership group. Members lead, grow, create and facilitate all that we do and all that we are. It is time to become a 2027 member and macher. And we’ve made it even easier by including basic membership with our upcoming fun-filled November Storytelling Event & Brunch. Basic dues are only the beginning as we routinely accept higher amounts. Here are answers to some FAQs about our “dues.”
Does IRP Detroit charge dues? If you are looking for a statement or bill to appear, don’t wait – act now. We have a minimum “dues” donation of $36 (included in the November Storytelling Brunch event) and we rely on voluntary membership amounts above that. Our Supporting $125 contribution is pretty close to what members save on events over the year. At $200 you can help with Sustain IRP Detroit's continued vitality. Amounts more than that are always very welcome! We also have a tribute fund accepting donations year-round.
Where do the “dues” go? Everything we collect goes toward programming throughout the year. We also rely on philanthropy and are ever thankful for sponsors who believe in what our members create and enjoy together in mutual esteem and collegiality to help maximize our quality of life.
How do I maximize my membership? Beyond belonging and attending, IRP Detroit is built upon involvement and interpersonal activity. Personal fulfillment may be found in participating in our interactive zoom groups, facilitating a presentation, planning and implementing programs and events, hosting a group or activity, coming to committee meetings and exercising leadership.
Yes you can!
Please plan to attend our November 15 Storytelling Event & Brunch featuring real life stories with award winning Moth storytellers. If you can’t make it, we are accepting 2027 membership dues/donations now – so get yourself listed as a 2027 IRP Detroit member now. And be ready for even more events, activities and member appreciation in the coming year, thanks to everyone who is coming forward among us to make it all happen.
