Susan E. Scott Wins the 2023 Deborah LaMarche Telehealth Excellence Award

The Utah Education and Telehealth Network (UETN) has chosen Susan E. Scott, DNP PMHNP APRN as the 2023 recipient of the Deborah LaMarche Telehealth Excellence Award. The award recognizes Utah leaders who demonstrate exemplary efforts toward improving telehealth services in the state. This is the fourth year that UETN has presented this prestigious award.

Scott is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) who has led Intermountain’s efforts to build a virtual behavioral health practice (Connect Care — Behavioral Health) at Intermountain Health in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The annual UETN Tech Summit was held June 14-15 at Murray High School and was a huge success. Susan E. Scott from Intermountain Health was presented with the 4th annual Deborah LaMarche Telehealth Excellence Award at the opening session of the summit.

UTN wants to say thank you to all of the IT professionals who attended from our rural hospitals and clinics. Each year we have more and more breakout sessions on healthcare related topics. We ended the summit with our bi-monthly Technical Subcommittee meeting.

This fall, we will be preparing an RFP for new sites and services that want to join the UETN network in 2024. If your company has any new clinics or sites that you want added to the network, please let a UTN representative know asap so that we can add them to the upcoming RFP. Deadline is August 31.
