Recycling Day - Electronics and Paper Shredding

Saturday, April 19 @ 9:00 a.m.

This event, held exclusively for local residents, provides an excellent opportunity to responsibly dispose of paper materials and electronic waste free of charge. While the event is scheduled until noon, it is important to note that it will end earlier if the collection trucks reach full capacity.

ProShred will be on site to shred paper materials. Each participant is limited to five medium-sized boxes or an equivalent amount of paper for shredding. This is a great way to safely dispose of sensitive documents while protecting your personal information.

eWaste will also be collecting old electronic items for recycling.

Leaks Can Run, but They Can't Hide

Are you ready to chase down leaks? Household leaks can waste nearly 1 trillion gallons of water annually nationwide.

The average household's leaks can account for nearly 10,000 gallons of water wasted every year, and ten percent of homes have leaks that waste 90 gallons or more per day. Common types of leaks found in the home are worn toilet flappers, dripping faucets, and other leaking valves. These types of leaks are often easy to fix, requiring only a few tools and hardware that can pay for themselves in water savings.
