A Letter from GKC-PRSA

By Bridget Koan, APR

Happy Fall! A warm welcome to all our new and reinstated members. Your presence is a valuable addition to the Greater Kansas City chapter, and we eagerly anticipate the contributions you will make. We look forward to meeting you soon.

As we near the end of another year, thank you all for your support and dedication. We have much to be thankful for and enjoyed celebrating many achievements in 2024.

I want to give a special thank you to the 2024 GKC-PRSA Board of Directors. Your unwavering commitment to the profession, PRSA, and the Greater Kansas City chapter has been instrumental in our success.

Thank you for the 2024 PRISM sponsors Saint Luke's, Germinder + Associates, and Holcim.

Congratulations to the 2024 PRISM and chapter award winners. Your outstanding contributions have set a high standard for us all to strive for.

Thank you and kudos to board members Ladazhia Taylor and Grayson Gilbert for organizing a successful PRSSA Student Summit on Nov. 15. With these fantastic students, the future of public relations and PRSA is bright. It's a joy to meet and help them, as others helped me early in my career.

I am filled with anticipation for the new year, which promises a wealth of exciting programming and professional development opportunities. Please register for the end-of-year happy hour on Dec. 11, as we look forward to celebrating the year's successes and ushering in a new chapter together.

Bridget Koan, APR

GKC-PRSA President
