St. John Henry Newman’s Feast Day: October 9

O God, who bestowed on the Priest Saint John Henry Newman

the grace to follow your kindly light and find peace in your Church;

graciously grant that, through his intercession and example,

we may be led out of shadows and images into the fullness of your truth.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son. Amen.

On this Feast of St. John Henry Newman, come to tonight's Baronius Lecture on him at 7:00pm in Assumption Hall.

Another Year of Family Faith Begins!

Families of the Oratory Parishes had their first day of Family Faith Formation at the Assumption Parish Hall last Sunday, September 28. Parents and children came together to form a community, share a meal, and learn about the topics they will explore this year. Families also had the opportunity to sing hymns, create artwork, and meet their volunteers for the year. It was a fun and engaging session where children and adults alike were able to connect and spread some joy. The next session of Family Faith is on Sunday, October 19. If you are interested in registering for the program, please get in touch with Mr. Joe O'Brien at jobrien@oratorychurch.org

Mass Intentions

It has been a long tradition in the Church to offer Masses for people to pray, especially for the dead, seeking God’s grace, mercy, and spiritual benefits through Christ’s sacrifice. Usually a modest donation is given for this. In the coming weeks we have several Masses with no particular intentions. If you would like to have a Mass offered for someone (living or deceased), email the parish office at info@oratorychurch.org or click here.
