Phil, what are the advantages of Strate sewage systems over a wet well setup?

As you might imagine, there are many differences between the two designs.

The Strate system benefits in that it can be used almost anywhere. You do not need to dig a sump to install it. As long is there a gravity feed to the system it can be situated on a floor. We have many systems used at food courts where the pumping system is near to the source of the effluent even if it is on a floor above ground level.

The Strate systems are sealed so that even if you stand next to them you are not aware of any odour.

This also means that maintenance can in most cases be carried out without confined space entry requirements.

The motor drives are TEFV style so no need for submersible motors.

The picture shows a system in operation and as can be seen it is clean and accessible.
