CHAMBER UPDATES & EVENTS
Another Election and Another Minority Government
Both our area MPs will be going back to Ottawa. Congrats to Tracy Gray in Kelowna Lake Country and Dan Albas in Central Okanagan - Similkameen - Nicola for being re-elected. While all votes are not yet tallied (mail in ballots are being counted today), it appears the result is all but certain as is another minority liberal government.

The Kelowna Chamber congratulates all candidates that put their name forward in the recent Federal Election and looks forward to working with our MPs and the new parliament to address the issues that are critical to the success of our growing region.

Real-time national and local results are available directly from Elections Canada.
The Kelowna Chamber salutes all businesses in the central Okanagan and how they have rolled with the many punches thrown at them during 2021.  Through all those challenges over the past year we've seen some terrific displays of determination, innovation, and resiliency. Our 34th Annual Business Excellence Awards will celebrate those accomplishments but we need your help.

This is a great chance for you to show how much you appreciate the efforts of your favourite local business by nominating them for one of our sixteen different awards from Tourism Excellence to Business of the Year. Show local some love by clicking on the link below and spend 60 seconds to nominate someone today!
