JULY 2024

EESTI KEELES JA EESTI MEELES!

EFC funds Estonian language learning across Canada!

With committed instructors and enthusiastic adult students, Alberta Estonian Heritage Society has continued its series of online Estonian language courses. The photos below are from the Spring 2024 course. In addition to language education, these courses teach students about history, geography, foods, customs, music and other aspects of Estonian culture and heritage.

Vancouver Estonian School hosted an overnight Estonian Youth and Children Summer Camp this past Canada Day long weekend at Mäeotsa in Mission, BC. Activities combined Estonian traditions with classic camp fun, empowering youth and their families to immerse themselves in Estonian language and heritage, and create lasting memories.

EFC thanks all organizers and participants for helping to keep Estonian culture, heritage, language and education alive in Canada!
