It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Harvey Miller, a longtime leader and innovator in the car wash industry. Harvey began his career in 1956 and throughout the years purchased, built, and operated several car washes throughout both Southern and Northern California.
Harvey was an active member and supporter of the Western Carwash Association serving as president of both the Southern California and Northern California associations prior to their merger. Throughout his career, Harvey also received numerous awards and alcaldes including the Western Carwash Association’s Hall of Fame Award, the Man-of-the-Year Award from the California Car Wash Association, and the President’s Award from the International Car Wash Association. Harvey’s love, knowledge and enthusiasm for the industry and presence at industry events will be deeply missed.
Harvey is survived by his wife of 21 years, Yuki, sisters Gloria and Ilene, and many loving nieces and nephews.
