Dear Friends:

We hope you are enjoying your summer to the fullest! Our staff is enjoying the quieter months as we refresh our spirits, prepare for the new school year and get some much needed projects done around our buildings.

We have a few announcements for you all as well! First, we have a prayer group that meets the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. We would love for you to be involved, as we know the power of prayer and would love to see the community united in this way. This group is open to anyone who would like to attend and meets from 9:45am-10:45am just inside the back door of the counseling center at 230 S. Main St. in Walworth.

Secondly, we are in need of an RA for our Girls' Home. FT or PT, live in is available and room and board is included. Please join us in prayer for this and share with anyone you know who has a heart for hurting teens and the mission field, right here in their back yard.

Liz King, a former co-director at Agape House, is fighting small-cell lung cancer. There is a GoFundMe set up to help her and her husband provide for medical bills. If you feel led to read, learn more, pray or donate, please visit HERE. We thank you in advance for any support you are able to give.

Lastly, DAS Fest is coming to the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn, August 5-7. This is a great, FREE family event that strengthens local businesses and supports over 40 nonprofit organizations. Come and enjoy food, drinks, family activities, live music, shopping and more! ~God's healing touch upon those who have been seeking healing; it is amazing to see how He works!

~One of our teens accepted Jesus into their heart this summer!!

~We have 8 teens returning to the program from this past school year!

Please also join us in prayer for:

~ The parents as they are adjusting to their teens being home again. That they are feeling comforted and applying the tools they have learned here to their lives at home.

~ God to prepare the hearts and minds of the teens that He is hand-picking for our program as we interview prospective students/families.

~ God to touch the 1 person He is calling into our open RA position. That they would be open to receiving His calling!
