The delicate, sublime, crispy-on-the-outside and tender-on-the-inside Urth Waffle was born from a desire to create a simple and space effective breakfast or brunch dish using the best quality ingredients. What resulted was an all-natural masterpiece in the form of Urth’s crunchy golden waffle—the Urth take on a beloved classic!

The inspired addition, a few years ago, to add Acai and vanilla ice cream as toppings to the Urth iconic waffle created a sensation and made these spectacular creations Urth’s most popular breakfast item! With your choice of Acai or Vanilla Ice Cream, this waffle is made with our classic old-fashioned Belgium buttermilk batter, cooked until golden, topped with fresh strawberries and bananas, served with a scoop of Acai sorbet or vanilla ice cream, then garnished with coconut and Nutella™ drizzle. 

For an extra special treat, try the Banana Walnut Waffle—our classic Belgium waffle topped with fresh bananas, caramel sauce and an additional topping of brûléed banana. All lovingly garnished with chopped roasted walnuts. 

And know, that you always have the option to upgrade any waffle to our gluten-free* version—fresh white corn waffles that taste just like fresh cornbread straight out of the oven. It is one of Co-Founder Shallom Berkman’s favorite breakfast menu items!

Urth Caffé follows Italy’s Roasting Traditions

Just like culinary tastes, espresso preferences also differ from region to region. In Northern Italy, you'll find the lightest roasted espresso blends, in the Southern regions the preference is for darker roasted espresso, whereas in Rome, medium roasts are preferred.

Urth Italia™ Espresso is roasted to a chestnut brown, medium dark roast. This roast fully develops the sugars into a caramel richness producing a thick red crema. It offers flavors of hazelnut, cocoa, spice, and a long finish, that lingering flavor you taste on your tongue when you finish an espresso.

Urth Dolce™ Espresso was inspired also from a coffee research expedition to Milan, Italy where the Berkmans were astonished to discover how light the espresso blends were roasted yet had a sweet, well-developed flavor. This discovery kicked off 14 years of research on how to achieve a well-developed light roast espresso.

Urth Dolce™ Espresso is remarkable for its wonderful sweetness that can taste almost as sweet as sugar and its sparkling butterscotch flavor. It is much milder than our classic Urth Italia Espresso™ blend.

Urth Italia™ Espresso Decaffeinated is also available. This rich, smooth, full-bodied espresso is 99.9% decaffeinated with the chemical‐free Natural Water Process to create the most caffeine‐free espresso of any in the world.

It's All About Chocolate!

Baked each day, using only the finest natural and organic ingredients such as imported chocolate, fresh cream, farm-fresh eggs and the best European-style butter.

Chocolate Hazelnut – Chocolate hazelnut sponge cake layered with Nutella and hazelnut icing. Covered in chocolate hazelnut ganache. Chocolate Crown – chocolate sponge cake filled with rich chocolate mousse and covered in chocolate ganache. Vegan Chocolate Cake – contains absolutely no dairy, eggs, or animal products of any kind. Flourless Chocolate – Our rich dark chocolate is whipped and baked into a creamy, silky and light souffle texture!

So Good, So Fresh!

Bountiful, flavorful Urth Caffé Signature Salads are a perfect way to celebrate! Our own Urth Salad is one of our most popular because it offers farm fresh mixed greens, feta cheese, sugar plum tomatoes, hearts of palm, garbanzo beans, Kalamata olives and pine nuts in our vinaigrette dressing and served with fresh baked bread upon request. It’s available in half size and full.
