Announcing:

The Juniper Island Steering Committee

Volunteers Needed

Announcing the Juniper Island Steering Committee.

Please consider offering your expertise.

The ASLC and SLYC have agreed to jointly solicit the feedback of the Stony Lake community, for the purpose of understanding what cottagers on the lake think about Juniper Island, both now and in the future. The goal of the exercise will be to gather information, to determine what, if anything, the ASLC and SLYC should consider as they plan for the future.

We are looking to form a Steering Committee to lead this effort. Ideally, we would form a committee of individuals who have spent a lot of time at Juniper Island and hopefully, others who have not. Anyone with a background in collecting information from a large population would also be an asset.

The successful candidates will be chosen by a team of ASLC and SLYC Board Members: Shannon Thibodeau, Liz Eustace, Dave Newton and Andrew Rush. The goal would be to create the Steering Committee no later than April 4th, 2022.

If you are interested in being a part of this committee, please send an e-mail to Andrew Rush at andrewrush@live.com by Mar. 4th, 2022. Please outline any past experiences that would help support the committee.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Andrew Rush
Stay safe.
