Alternative Investments in Wealth Portfolios: What Belongs, What Doesn't, and Why Date: Thu., October 22, 2026 Time: 11:00 AM EDT
Which alternatives actually belong in your clients' portfolios, and which ones don't?
Alternative investments are playing a broader role in portfolio construction. As access to private markets expands and client expectations evolve, wealth managers are rethinking how private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets, and other alternatives fit within long-term portfolio construction. But expanded access doesn't simplify the job: liquidity constraints, valuation complexity, due diligence rigor, and client suitability still demand careful judgment.
Kelly DePonte of Kelly DePonte Advisory LLC, Daniil Shapiro CFA, of Cerulli Associates, and Peter Hecht of AQR Capital Management share their perspectives on where opportunities may exist, how to evaluate the practical trade-offs, and how to construct portfolios designed for a more complex investment environment.

Building Portfolios for the Next Decade: What's Changing and What Still Works? Date: Wed., October 28, 2026 Time: 11:00 AM EDT
What will clients demand from wealth managers in ten years, and are you ready?
Client expectations are shifting, wealth is transferring across generations, and technology is rewriting the economics of personalized advice. The wealth management profession is not just evolving at the margins. Its core advisory model is being restructured. This webinar brings together Genevieve Hayman, Senior Manager of Macrosystems and Foresight at CFA Institute; Meb Faber, Chief Investment Officer at Cambria Investment Management; Thomas M. Idzorek, CFA, Chief Investment Officer at Morningstar Investment Management; and Aamir Rehman, Chair at Innate Capital Partners, to examine the structural forces redefining the profession, not the product trends or short-term market noise. The conversation focuses on what it will take to remain competitive over the next decade and what capabilities wealth professionals need to build now.
