SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP

MONTH OF OCTOBER 2026

10 AM WORSHIP

THE ORDER OF WORSHIP

THE PROCESSIONAL

Clergy and Choir

 THE DOXOLOGY

"Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow"

AMEC Hymnal No. 647

*THE CALL TO WORSHIP*

Minister: I was glad when they said unto me,

let us go into the house of the Lord, our feet shall stand within Thy gates, O Jerusalem.

People: For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Minister: Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.

People: Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Minister: Blessed are they that dwell in thy house. Lord, I have loved thy habitation, the place where thy honor dwelleth.

People: For the Lord is in His holy temple, let all the earth keep silence before Him.

Minister: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight. O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

People: O sing unto the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth, sing praises.

THE SUMMARY OF THE DECALOGUE

Hear what Christ our Savior Saith, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy Mind. This is the first and great commandment, and the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Wednesday Bible Study

with Brother Martin St. Thomas Rogers (In-Person)

6:30 PM, in the Fellowship Hall.

New Series - "Genesis to"

We will begin studying the Bible from Genesis and continue through the remaining books. We may or may not complete this journey because questions will arise, and we may need to do research. But we'll approach this journey from a different perspective. Think Potato Salad... You know, we as humans take for granted most information concerning religion as gospel. Question: Is it??

This semester, we will traverse the Bible through summarization and synopsis format. We will also pose a lot of questions and, hopefully, provide some answers. It will be my attempt to get folks to see and think about the Bible from the viewpoint of Potato Salad. You ask what the Bible has to do with Potato Salad. Well, you might want to come and participate in this journey. As we learn, we also teach... Come out and share your knowledge, thoughts and questions with the rest of us.

In-Person Classes - Wednesday Evening

6:30 pm, @ Campbell Chapel AME Church.
