Sea Pines Forest Preserve Prescribed Burn is in Progress

Due to favorable weather conditions, a prescribed burn is taking place today, December 14th in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. There is a possibility that parts of the community may be able to see or smell smoke during the active burn and potentially into the night as mop up operations are conducted. The Forest Preserve will remain open, but there will be restricted access near White Ibis Swamp.

2024 Sea Pines CSA Annual Assessment Billing Reminder

The 2024 Annual Assessment invoices were emailed on November 28th from the email address csaassessmentbilling@csaseapines.com and also mailed out via USPS on November 22nd to the primary contact on record with Sea Pines CSA. If you do not see this email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder.

The due date for payment of this assessment is January 12, 2024. To pay your assessment online click here. For questions, please contact our Finance Department by email at traceym@csaseapines.com

Commercial Vendor Holiday Access Restriction Reminder

Vehicles with commercial decals or commercial passes are not permitted in Sea Pines on the following days: Thanksgiving Day, The Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.

This restriction does not apply to pool companies, housekeeping, and deliveries to commercial entities. For emergency access for service providers on these holidays, please contact Sea Pines Security Dispatch at 843.671.7170.

Otter Road and Fawn Lane Survey Work in Progress

Survey and engineering work for future stormwater infrastructure improvements and roadway repairs along Otter Road and Fawn Lane began this week. Survey work will take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Traffic impacts are not expected. Heritage Woods Leisure Trail Repair and Construction Project Rescheduled

Repair and construction work on the Heritage Woods Leisure Trail from Heritage Court to Old Military Road originally planned for Mid-December 2023, has been rescheduled to begin in early January. We look forward to keeping the community updated on the start date once it has been confirmed.

South Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project: Major stormwater drainage work along South Sea Pines Drive from Audubon Pond Road to Gadwall Road is in progress and is scheduled to continue over the next few weeks.

• Project work includes stormwater drain pipe excavation and replacement, asphalt milling, and temporary roadway paving repairs.
• Due to the nature of major infrastructure improvement work, unplanned water and or utility outages in the work zone may occur.
• Well-pointing and dewatering operations (lowering groundwater levels to provide more stable working conditions) will be in place.

Tower Beach Pavilion Closed Monday-Wednesday Next Week for Maintenance

Weather permitting, the Tower Beach Pavilion will be closed for floor resurfacing from Monday, December 18th through Wednesday, December 20th. We appreciate your patience during this closure.

Six Oaks Cemetery will be honoring our veterans this Christmas during their fourteenth annual Wreaths Across America ceremony. You are cordially invited to attend the ceremony, which will be held outside, on Saturday, December 16th at noon.

South Island Public Service District Potable Drinking Water Pipeline Upgrade Project Update

Construction and excavation for the installation of a new water line along Lot 4, located off Greenwood Drive (starting near the Sea Pines CSA Office and moving towards Governors Road), is currently underway.
