Forum Series: Walls, Windows, and Women Artists

Sunday, 10/18, 11:15 am, Church & livestreamed

As we anticipate our buildings’ 150th anniversary (on February 9, 2027), these Forums will take a closer look at the extraordinary art that surrounds us each time we gather for worship—art that has helped to shape, inform, and inspire our faith for generations.

This Sunday, Oct. 18 — The Women

Cynthia Staples, Trinity Church Historian, will share the stories of the women whose artistry has enriched Trinity Church's interior—from its walls to its windows and even its floors. Their work, creativity, and contributions are an important part of the story of the church we know and love today.

Watch the Oct. 4 Walls Forum and the Oct. 11 Windows Forum on Trinity's YouTube Channel.

"From These Stones" - Stewardship Season Launches This Week

On Tuesday we kicked off our annual stewardship season with a parish-wide email message, and on Wednesday, we mailed pledge packets to all active households.

Sunday's gospel appointment will encourage us to give "to God the things that are God's." From this good beginning, this season we'll consider together what things in our own lives are gifts from God (spoiler alert: it's everything) and our invitation to steward those gifts faithfully and generously in support of God's church.

Ready to make your pledge to Trinity for 2027? Click here for an electronic pledge form or return a paper pledge card via the offering plate or mail.

Submit Names for All Souls’ Day by Oct. 21

On Sunday, October 25, we will remember all those from the parish who have died since last All Souls’ Day in 2025 with a spoken Necrology. Add the names of loved ones you would like us to include in the Necrology this year by using the form at trinitychurchboston.org/allsouls by Wed., 10/21. Please fill out one form per individual. If your loved one was included in the Prayers for the Deceased since December 2025, they are automatically included in our Necrology this year.

Bring in Photos or Write a Name for the Chapel of Remembrance

We invite you to share small, framed (if possible) pictures of those you love and see no longer for the Chapel of Remembrance. We can accept these at the Parish House desk until 8:30 am on Sun., 10/25; and then through 12 noon that day in the Chapel. The Chapel of Remembrance will be lit and open on Sun., 10/25 and Sun., 11/1 (All Saints' Day) during our worship services. Please, do not leave any irreplaceable items, and identify each photo with name and contact information. We will also have materials for adding names to the Chapel in lieu of photos. You can reclaim your photo on Sun. 11/1.
