We are looking forward to holding our March meeting, Wednesday, March 20th.

The 2024 DBA Memberships are now OPEN! The Downtown Business Association provides valuable information to the community from for-profit and non-profit businesses to government agencies. The goal is to keep these groups and organizations updated with business, organizational and government improvements that effect residents and businesses within the downtown area and the greater area. With a scheduled monthly forum, it puts all interested parties at the table for public conversation.

We also want to wish you all a Happy Women's History Month. Brockton is a City filled with wonderful women doing inspirational work in our community. We invite you to submit a brief biography of a remarkable woman through the provided link for potential inclusion in our newsletters, website, and social media platforms. To share these stories, please click the link here.

I would also like to give a shout out to the women who make the DBA so successful; specifically, Amanda Glennon, Megan Fournier, and Elise Prince. Without these three women providing pro-bono support, our meetings, newsletters, social media, and other matters would not happen. Their work is supported by Shaleah Gilmer of Black Owned Brockton.

“Too often, the women were unsung and sometimes their contributions went unnoticed. But the achievements, leadership, courage, strength, and love of the women who built America was as vital as that of the men whose names we know so well.” – Jimmy Carter
